John Paul Martini President
As President, John Paul oversees the operations of the company. A 1972 graduate of Kent State University, John Paul brings over 40 years of hands-on experience in construction management and general contracting. From Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, to the 35-story (formerly) National City Concrete structure, to additions at St. Vincent Charity Hospital, to the Horizon Science Academies located throughout the Cleveland area, John Paul has played a large part in ensuring successful projects everywhere, and has helped build a business based on trust. He leads The Martini Construction Company team in building successful projects, on time and on budget.
GREGORY STEVENSON
V.P. Operations
With over 30 years in the construction industry, Gregory Stevenson is a key contributor to the success of The Martini Construction Company and its multitude of projects. Gregory is responsible for supervision, scheduling and staffing, equipment, labor cost analysis, and coordination of all subcontractors working on Martini jobs. Gregory and his team of hardworking field personnel are the ones who make the projects of The Martini Construction Company happen.
Peter Blazey
Controller
Peter has been with Martini Construction for over eight years. Two years ago he moved into the position of controller to better stream line project management and finance. If you have a money question on a project he is your man.

Mary Stevenson
lead ESTIMATOR
As The Martini Construction Company's VP of Estimating & Sales, Mark Marek brings with him 15 years of mechanical engineering and more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Mark works with President John Paul to negotiate contract prices with subcontractors to ensure all our Clients are getting the most "bang for the buck". Mark is also responsible for the operation of Martini Construction's accounting department.
Mary Stevenson has been an estimator for Martini Construction since 2018. Mary is also working with our sales team to make your project complete. With over a decade of experience in the construction industry, she has worn many hats over the years, settling into the roles of Project Manager and Head Estimator at Martini Construction. Mary is the main point of contact for all projects; current, or bidding, orders materials for current projects, puts out proposals for future projects, coordinates the negotiation of all contracts with subcontractors, as well as providing constant and consistent communications with owners and clients. The Martini Construction Company is a General Contractor/Construction Manager located in Downtown Cleveland. For over 40 years, we have built a reputation of quality construction, careful money management, and adherence to the tightest of schedules. We see it as our mission to deliver our projects on time and on budget and to protect our clients' interests.
Although The Martini Construction Company is not a large or flashy organization, we have continued to exist and to thrive when many other general contractors have gone out of business. This is owed largely to the fact that we have built strong relationships with our clients and have a great deal of repeat business generated from satisfied customers. We have strong relationships with many of the area tradesmen and women, and have a core of reliable subcontractors with whom we work on a regular basis.
Construction, to us, is not just about bricks and mortar and glass. It's craftsmanship. It is the satisfaction we, and our clients, get from seeing a drawing come to life. We love what we do, and we believe our passion for our work shows through in every project we complete.
Our long list of clients includes St. Vincent Charity Hospital, The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, PJAX Freight Systems, New Plan Learning, Horizon Science Academy and Concept Schools, Uncle Bob's Self Storage, Plymouth Church of Shaker Heights, and many, many more.
We perform work in the Cleveland area, and throughout other areas of Ohio, including Akron, Columbus, Toledo and Cincinnati. We are licensed in the State of Pennsylvania and recently performed work in Downtown Philadelphia. It is our hope to continue to grow our organization and expand to New York, Chicago and other metropolitan areas throughout the United States.
